Internet Wisdom Education Project
What we have accomplished:
The Internet Wisdom Education Program (i-WE) has made great progress on achieving its original goals. 17 of the Natural Way Speaker Events have been converted into DVD documentary format and some of our DVD's include speaker interviews. In addition, the website has been redesigned for easy navigation and informative entertainment, video highlights of our documentaries can be viewed by everyone Click here. The videos are being donated to schools and non-profit organizations and are also available for purchase by anyone who is interested. Quantity discounts are available. Click here. Our target DVD donations include Native American Schools, Health and Substance Recovery Centers, Earth-based and Wilderness Awareness curriculums and Cultural Awareness education.
Our Goals:
DVD sales will benefit the Natural Way Program by further supporting our financial sustainability. As our website expands we will continue to develop new i-WE documentaries from our growing body of recordings of the Indigenous Voices Speaker Series. One of our most important goals is to create a website that is enjoyable for all age groups and navigable by all skill levels.
i-WE project is currently placing 5-10 minute poignant excerpts of our finished DVD's on YouTube. Currently there are 17 excerpts available, Click Here.
Eventually, we intend to broaden our scope to obtain material for internet Wisdom Education. To fulfill our mission we will travel to where the Indigenous Elders, Spiritual Leaders, Story Tellers and Speakers are living and working. Because many of our elders and their knowledge are dying without the opportunity to pass on their teachings to future generations, we can then increase the pace of the i-WE documentary process.
